This is a terrific secluded spot and it is brilliant to get away from everyone and everything. I am tempted to keep it to ourselves. The area is very beautiful and very much Waterberg. A real treasure. 11.02.2010 by Peter Manning from Boston, United States of America - 5/5- All we needed was a camp fire and view for astonomy and we got it. Awesome. Accommodation was just fine, bed was huge and extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the birds and game we saw. A great pit stop - felt safe and secluded, it was wonderful. 11.02.2010 by Steve and Leanne from south africa - 5/5- An easy drive and out of the havoc and into serenity! The dam on the farm is absolutely glorious at this time! Our dogs spent most their days swimming and we were permitted to braai lakeside 1 night too. Frogs and toads babbled and the night sounds were phenomenally enriched - a magical end to a our mini-break. We love the simple comfort of Boekenhout, the easy endless walks, the nature around us and will definitely return. We are very glad to have found Rietbokspruit via Naboom-Info! 01.01.2010 by stephanie mcvicker from RSA and UK - 4/5- Basic, comfortable accommodation. Peace and quiet. Really, truly nothing to do here - no river, stream that we could find nor splash pool, etc. which would have made all the difference. 16.09.2009 by Mrs & Mrs Schubert from South Africa - 5/5- A very quaint retreat, this break to the bush really restored our weary souls. Very happy to have visited and we shall certainly be booking again. Next time we shall bring the dogs for lots of walks on the farm. Thanks very much Mansel and Melissa - a lovely stay. 14.09.2009 by Pete and Ilsa v. Wyk from South Africa - 5/5- We visited the cottages 10 years ago, 5 years ago and 3 years ago the place is still very nice. Rustic like we like it but also very good and comfortable. 14.09.2009 by Pete and Ilsa v. Thanks a million and see you soon. 25.10.2008 by Sonya from South Africa - 5/5- Came for peace and quiet - got peace and quiet!
